We are planning to make some changes to the Kingston Branch website, starting at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18 and completing sometime before 10:00 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, January 19.
Website users should expect service disruptions during this period.
Changes include:
- Migration of the website to a more modern Theme that is still supported by the publisher. (It’s a WordPress thing.)
- Improvements to the layout and organization of the site.
- Updates to some of the page content.
- A new landing (or home) page.
- Introduction of the use of Posts for more dynamic content.
- Introduction of the use of more graphics and photos.
While we intend that the website will be fully usable by the end of Sunday, January 19, it is impossible to weed out all software faults. As a result, users may encounter some problems and issues.
We would be grateful if users would report any issues or problems found on the Kingston Branch website to [email protected] when they are encountered.
Finally, this weekend’s changes are the first step in a series of improvements to the website, planned for rollout over the next several months.
