
In 2022, members of the branch Cemeteries Committee transcribed Riverview Cemetery from scratch. Here are two pictures from that effort.
The Gibbard family plot (above) includes the largest monument in the cemetery. A gorgeous grave marker, the top portion is made of zinc, called “white bronze” when these types of grave markers were popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Its transcription is as follows:

The other picture (below) shows three tall Huffman grave markers. They are among the oldest in the cemetery and are still in excellent condition. For a period of time, the cemetery was called the Huffman Cemetery. The cemetery vault can be seen in the background.
